Derek
Accordion
Derek got his first Accordion when he was 5 years old and started lessons, He Joined his first band , STORM, at the age of 16 as “apprentice”
accordionist where his father was the drummer and played with them for nearly 10 years. The Band work faded away with work and family commitments taking center stage.
Derek handles all bookings for the band so when you email or phone us its him that
will do you a deal.
Alan
Fiddle
Alan he has played the fiddle since he was eight and more recently has taken up playing the guitar.
Alan participates in SCAT and Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society attending and playing in many concerts around Scotland.
He does not have too much spare time but when he has Alan is trusted in arranging all the music for the band
Kev
Drums
Kev received his first drum kit when he was 9. He first got on stage and played for a drum and bugle Army band at the age of 11 with his older brother who was in the army and the love for playing In front of live crowds was born.
As he grew older and travelled the world with the RAF he joined many of the forces bands entertaining the troops where he was stationed.
He has played in a variety of bands including country and Western, pipe bands (playing in Edinburgh tattoo 1999) plus many rock, blues, soul and reggae bands over the years.
