We want to make your Ceilidh the best possible night and we always work hard leading up to your night to make sure its exactly how you want it.  There are always some common questions people will ask and to help you out we have listed them below

Do you travel outside Aberdeen?

Yes, no distance is too far, however we would require travel expenses paid and if further than 2.5 hours over night accommodation provided.


We dont charge for travel in or around Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire, this is included in the price quoted.

What is your Ceilidh Combo option?

Our Ceilidh Combo option is where you get the full ceilidh band as well as a top class disco.  This can done in a few different ways.


Option 1: True half and half Ceilidh Combo where band would play first half and disco second half .


Option 2: What we find to be the best option is to mix it up, so we play a couple of Ceilidh sets then we would have some disco music for a couple of songs, then back to Ceilidh for some more then back to disco and so on so forth.


Option 3: A mix of option 1 and 2 where we mix it up until the last hour or so then let the disco take over to finish the night.


Our Goal is to make it the best night for you so we can mix and match this; we are good at ‘reading’ our crowd whereby we know exactly what they want at any time.


Do you have PLI and PAT Testing certificates?

Yes, both certificates are available on request.


Can I come see you before I book?

Yes and we highly recommend it to get a feel for the true “Hipflask Experience”  Please let us know if you would like to see us and we can provide some dates.  We also post videos on the website and our Social Media all the time.


Am I protected on any cancellation?

We have never had to cancel a gig and if any member of the band could not make it due to personal reasons or illness we have a group of top class musicians for backups.


How much do you cost?

We have no fixed price and work with you to get the best deal for your event


How do I book?

Once you contact us with a date we will hold that date for you for 2 weeks.  If you want to proceed with the booking we would send you our standard booking form with T&C’s for you to complete and return.  At this point your booking is confirmed.


Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a £100 deposit is required for all bookings.


Will we have a great event?

Be it a wedding, Birthday Party, Student Event or Corporate event, we will do everything we can up to and during the night to make it a true night to remember!
